👋 Hi, I’m

marcela baiocchi

Product Designer
Currently @ Microsoft

I specialize in enterprise and productivity tools, with a focus on UX, data visualization, information architecture and design systems. At Microsoft, I design for Copilot Pages & Notebooks, Loop app, and third-party integrations across the Microsoft Office. Before that, I led the redesign of Meta’s People Portal and helped define the Integrated Employee Experience at the company, unifying several internal tools into a seamless platform. My PhD in Information Science and background in librarianship shape a design approach rooted in clarity, structure, and usability.

“Marcela was deeply engaged in all research work related to Integrated Employee Experience (IEX). She took extremely detailed notes and organized feedback from research participants in meaningful ways. I'm first and foremost impressed by her empathy with our employees. What's more, she has always been empathetic with researchers, showing mutual trust and respect, and always ready to jump in with answers or insights.”

Jonh Hu, UX Researcher Manager @Meta

"Marcela is an extremely intelligent and thoughtful designer with a clear expertise in strategic design. She is meticulous in her process and highly intentional with her output. She was brought into an ambitious and ambiguous project and was able to step into a strong contributing role quickly."

Marin Van Schaik, Lead Product Designer @Meta

"I truly enjoy working with Marcela and have so much appreciation for her friendly demeanor and IA expertise! Through a series of brainstorming sessions, we were able to completely reorganize a huge amount of information in a logical way. I love that Marcela is a great listener and is receptive to feedback, but she also challenges her partners if something doesn't make sense. She relies heavily on research to guide her decisions."
